A review of beekeeping for the second year keeper, including what a colony looks like in late winter/early spring, management concepts for overwintered colonies, mite counts, mite treatments, splitting a hive, and more. Weather permitting, we'll look inside a hive and review good brood pattern, poor brood pattern and colony health. Guide: Peter Poli
