Have you ever had a pizza baked in a brick oven? It tastes so much better and can bake in under three minutes! On Thursday, September 8, we welcomed the community back for another great pizza bake. Part of the flour for the crusts was Turkey Red Wheat from Anarchy Acres and most of the toppings came from our own garden: garlic, onions, basil, peppers, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, zucchini, and, of course, delicious homemade pizza sauce! Alongside pizza, attendees enjoyed salad made with delicious veggies from the EJC and our neighbors at Pinehold Gardens, and fair-trade chocolate for dessert.
