Bethany Apartments

Bethany Apartments:

Sanctuary and strength

for victims of domestic abuse

since 1990

Mission Statement

The mission of Bethany Apartments is to provide transitional housing and supportive services to women and children who are victims of domestic abuse.

Bethany carries out this mission in a twelve unit apartment building in downtown Racine, Wisconsin. Three main goals have been established.

1.  Provide safe, decent, affordable housing to women and children who have suffered abuse.

2.  Enhance this housing with supportive services that will enable the participants to regain their self-esteem and develop the skills needed to live independent lives.

3.  Enable the women and children to become role models of non-violence in their relationships and in their families.
