| Academic Ministry |
 S. Carla Mae Streeter
Academic Ministry is central to Dominican identity. In love with the Truth, a Dominican woman seeks to share it in many and varied ways, from teaching preschool to the university. S. Carla Mae Streeter is presently engaged in ministry as a professor of systematic theology and spirituality at Aquinas Institute in St. Louis. At left you see her with a group of young people who are exploring various forms of lay ministry in settings such as a parish, hospital, retreat center, or social justice office as a possible call and career.

Studenst hail from Africa, the Philippines, South America, and from various parts of the United States. The goal? To prepare them intellectually and spiritually to bring hope to others.
