| How You Can Help |
 Volunteering
"Rooted in hope" is in need of volunteers to assist with the on-going work and future plans of the Eco-Justice Center.
Whether your interests or skills lie in gardening, yard work, carpentry, minor repairs, cleaning, painting, wood splitting, or plant identification, there are many opportunities to help.
We continue to be amazed and filled with gratitude at how much work can be accomplished in a few hours by motivated and skilled volunteers.
Persons wishing to volunteer can arrange to share their time and talent by contacting S. Janet Weyker at 262-681-8527 or jaweyk@miliserv.net.

Wish List
One of the many ways you can help our program is by donating for an item on our Wish List:

 Adopt a Farm Animal
One of the ways you can feel part of the mission of the Eco-Justice Center is through our "Adopt an Animal" program. We share these 15 acres with alpacas, goats, chickens, geese, ducks, guinea hens, peacocks, rabbits, barn cats, a dog, and lots of wild birds. Part of our budget goes toward paying for feed, bedding, and vet costs. "Adopting" entails making a donation to the Eco-Justice Center in the amount for what it costs to maintain and care for each of those animals for a year.
Below is a listing of the estimated cost. If you would like to adopt one or several of our animals, click on the adoption form below to print it. Then just return it with your donation.
- Alpacas (Teddy, Friar Tuck, & Jasper) $200
- Goats (Annabelle, Buelahbelle, & Clarabelle) $60
- Dog (Grace) $250
- Roosters (Rowland, Charlie, Chanticleer, Stardust, & Carmel) $15
- Hens (too many to name) $15
- Barn cats (Sam, Samantha, & Kit) $35
- Peacocks (Eco & Jay) $12
- Geese (Rosemary & Chives) $15
- Guinea Hens (Matthew, Mark, & Luke) $12
- Rabbits (Velvet, Winston, & Pepper) $20

Thanks for Your Kindness
We are very grateful to our many benefactors who have contributed finances and given in-kind donations that have helped in our ministry of environmental education and care of Earth. We received funding for a new computer, movable fencing panels for the alpaca pasture, repair of the cupola, re-seeding of the hay field, dog kennel, landscaping, new riding lawn mower, roto-tiller and garden supplies. Folding tables, hay, straw, corn, cat food, bird seed, benches, wood chips, flower planters, and the removal of trees have been given as gifts to the Eco-Justice Center. It is heartening to see so many people caring for Earth and our work.
If you wish to support our mission, tax deductible donations can be sent to:
