Lighting the World with Truth

July program focuses on peace

You can listen to “Lighting the World with Truth” at wrjn.com. Click on "audio" at the top left and scroll down to “Lighting the World with Truth.”

On the second Sunday of each month, listeners in Racine and Kenosha may tune in at 7:00 a.m. to 1400 AM for the half-hour interview-format “Lighting the World with Truth” program on WRJN radio.

“Our mission is to provide a spiritual and ethical framework for discussing important issues of our time,” Sister Lois said. The very first program, in autumn 2009, addressed human trafficking, with guest Sister Ruth Schaaf, a Racine Dominican who has worked extensively in drawing attention to this issue.

“Lighting the World with Truth” is sponsored by the Racine Dominican Sisters, who live by the mission “committed to truth, compelled to justice.”
