Through the Socially Responsible Investment Program, the Racine Dominicans invest a portion of their funds in non-traditional or "community development" investments, i.e. in organizations or projects which may not yield a maximum return, but which fulfill basic human needs and whose organizational structure and development show a commitment to lessening inequality, disadvantage and discrimination.
