Coming by plane
From Milwaukee Mitchell Airport
A number of rental car companies are located in the airport terminal. From the terminal, drive south on Howell Ave. to Hwy 100 (Ryan Rd).  Turn left (east) on Ryan Rd and continue straight until the road deadends at Hwy 32. Turn right (south) and continue on Hwy 32 into Racine to 4 Mile Rd. Turn left (east) on 4 Mile, continue to Erie St. Turn left (north) on Erie St. until you see the Siena on the Lake sign.  Turn right (east) into Siena Center.  Follow the drive to the right and continue around to the back parking lot where you will see the entrance to the Retreat Center.

Wisconsin Coach Lines buses leave throughout the day from Mitchell Airport to Racine.  Take the Racine-Kenosha bus (pink placard in the window). Cost: $2.25 (pay on the bus). Ask to be dropped at Racine Tire in Racine.  This is 4 Mile Rd and Douglas Ave, less than 2mi from SienaRetreatCenter.  Let us know in advance when you will be coming so we can pick you up. There is also a shuttle which will take you from the airport directly to Siena Retreat Center. You can schedule the shuttle and see pricing information on the Go Airport Connection website.

From Chicago O'Hare or Midway
A number of rental car companies are located in the airport terminal.  Follow the directions below for coming from Chicago.

Take the CoachUSA- Wisconsin Coachlines to Racine- Hwy 20- The Iron Skillet.  Visit the CoachUSA website for schedule information from O'Hare. Let us know if you want a ride from the Iron Skillet; there is a charge for this to cover mileage. Alternatively, you can go to Milwaukee, and take the Racine/Kenosha shuttle to Racine Tire (see above). From Midway, you have to take a bus or shuttle first to O'Hare, and then on to Racine.

Coming by train
Take Amtrak to the station in Sturtevant, WI.  If you are coming for one of the Siena Retreat Center- sponsored retreats, please call beforehand, we may be able to pick you up. Otherwise, contact the leaders of your group about pick-up. If you need a ride from the station, please let us know as soon as you can; there will be a charge to cover mileage.

Coming by car- If you are using GPS, enter 5635 Erie St., Racine, WI, as the address.
From Milwaukee or Madison area:
Exit I-94 at Hwy 100 (Ryan Road); Turn LEFT (east) on Hwy 100 to Hwy 32 (4.4 mi); RIGHT on Hwy 32 to Four Mile Road (6.5 mi. along Hwy 32); LEFT on Four Mile Road to Erie Street (1.1 mi). Turn LEFT on Erie Street to SIENA CENTER (0.7 mi). Driveway on right. You may also want to check on the I-94 website for the latest construction updates.

From Chicago Area:
Exit I-94 at Hwy 20; RIGHT on Hwy 20 to Hwy 31 (5.4 mi); LEFT on Hwy 31 to Five Mile Road (5.6 mi). (Note: Four Mile Rd between Hwy 31 and Hwy 32 is closed for construction.) There is no stop or light at Five Mile Rd. Turn RIGHT on Five Mile Road to Douglas Ave. (0.7 mi); RIGHT on Douglas to Four Mile Rd. (1.3 mi) LEFT on Four Mile Rd. to Erie Street and LEFT on Erie Street to SIENA CENTER  (0.7 mi). Driveway on right. You may also want to check on the I-94 website for the latest construction updates.

NOTE: These directions are modified due to the closure of 4 Mile Rd west of Hwy 32 (Douglas Ave) until some time in 2013. Neither Mapquest nor Google Maps reflects this closure.

From Kenosha:

Please note that the Main St. bridge is now open.  However, if you want to avoid downtown, follow these directions:

Come north on Sheridan Rd/Hwy 32. After passing Hwy 11, stay left at the fork.  This is Racine St.  At State St., be sure not to veer left, nor turn right; continue straight on Racine St. Racine St. will run into Douglas Ave. Turn LEFT onto Douglas Ave. Continue on Douglas to 4-Mile Rd. Turn RIGHT onto 4-Mile and LEFT at Erie St.  Siena will be on your right side.
