Bird Walks

BIRD WALKS

4 Tuesdays in April/May:

April 30, May 7, May 14, May 21 at 8:00am

This is the prime time of year to witness the bird migration!  Join Rick Fare for a walk through Cliffside Park, Eco-J's neighbor. Warblers, orioles, tanagers, and hummingbirds - along with many others - will be returning to their breeding grounds after a long migration. This is an exciting time of the year to enjoy birds! Meet in Cliffside Park at parking area #2. There is no cost for the walks. Stay for a treat afterwards at Eco-J!

Adults & children are welcome. Please RSVP by calling Sarah at 262-681-8527 ext. 2#.

Rick Fare is a lifetime member of Bluebird Restoration Association of Wisconsin (BRAW), bluebird trail coordinator for Racine and Kenosha Counties, past president and current Education Chair for Hoy Audubon Society, and 2016 recipient of the Bronze Passenger Pigeon Award from the Wisconsin Society of Ornithology. Rick has been an active birdwatcher for over 35 years.
