At the end of September a guinea hen nest was disturbed in the hay field. The surviving eggs were transferred to an incubator where we waited for any sign of life. On October 11, one strong keet (baby guinea hen) broke out of her shell and joined us at the Eco-Justice Center. "Pumpkin" is growing strong and is already starting to show her adult, spotted feathers.
