Sister Dorothy (Germaine) Le Noble
What first drew you to the Racine Dominican community?
I was taught by Racine Dominican Sisters at St. John’s in Little Chute and this inspired me to become a nun.
What has kept you in the community all these years?
I enjoyed working with the children in the primary grades. Most important, though, is the community, prayer and serving others.
What is one particularly cherished memory of your years in ministry?
My most cherished memory is the time I spent at Our Lady of the Oaks in Pewaukee. I enjoyed the country atmosphere and staff and the sisters that resided there.
What is one thing people today should know about the Racine Dominicans?
People should know of our concern for the poor and elderly, and about our mission to seek justice for all people.
What do you enjoy doing at this time of your life?
I enjoy reading, craft work and assisting the sisters in any way I can.
