HR Generalist

We’re looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team on a part-time, temporary basis for 6–9 months (approximately 20 hours/week). This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to stay engaged in HR work without a full-time or permanent commitment. This role is pivotal in supporting our mission by managing HR functions while our incumbent HR Director takes on interim duties.
Responsibilities
The HR Generalist role is responsible for HR functions, including the employment life cycle from recruitment and onboarding, through separation documentation and communication. This may include, but is not necessarily limited to, benefits communications/enrollments, recordkeeping, employee support (including FMLA and disability coordination) and compliance monitoring. We're looking for someone with solid HR administrative and generalist experience, detail orientation and ability to keep processes running smoothly and comfort working independently while meeting deadlines.
