Join us as we do 250 Works of Mercy in honor of America's 250th Birthday!

Along with the congregations of LCWR Region 9, we believe that the world can be changed, and we're starting with one act of mercy at a time. We challenge one another to release positive energy out into our world by doing random acts of mercy in honor of the 250th Birthday of the United States.

Any act of kindness or respect by any Sister, Associate staff member or co-minister can be considered an act of mercy.  Examples include: greeting and smiling at another person, holding the door open for someone, donating to a food drive, helping a neighbor, picking up a piece of waste paper, composting, reaching out to someone, etc. The list is endless!

On our Siena campus, once we've done or observed someone else perform an act of kindness, we write that action on a post-it note and place it on a poster, and then add a pebble to a jar to show that small acts can lead to big impact. The project begins on February 4th and continues through July 4th.

We hope you consider joining us in doing countless acts of mercy and kindness today and every day!
